Timing Belt

Were you aware that it’s generally recommended that you replace your timing belt every fifty thousand miles?  It’s one of those smaller parts that probably doesn’t cross your mind… until it breaks and you’re stranded until the tow truck arrives.

Serpentine Belt

Your serpentine belt, or drive belt, may be causing that high-pitch squeal you hear when you start the car or take a tight turn.  This powers several pumps and fans.  Not a part you can go without!

Hoses and Clamps

Your car houses several hoses that allow coolant to flow between the engine, radiator and heating block.  They are referred to as upper and lower radiator hoses and heater hoses.  Some vehicles also have a bypass hose.  Your hoses and clamps should be inspected approximately once every six months.
